how can we travel by bikes and motorcycle from Connecticut to Maryland?

As i already know by interstate is the shortest voice if i’m riding a bike or a motorcycle.But what can i do to make the trip easier if I am doing a transportation? It does not matter of where i’m coming from in connecticut and where i am going to maryland.

what is doing a transportation mean

You can’t ride a bicycle on I-95. I’m pretty sure there are back roads…

If you use mapquest to do the route, there is a checkbox labled "Avoid Highways".
