It wouldn’t have to say harley on it,.. nobody can read it under there. any independent bike shop or even a indy repair shop will have them. (if it says HD the price doubles) You can expect to pay anywhere from $5 to $15. My gf found one for $3 at a small place that sells turkish incense and all kinds of brass goodies. -works great.

If you find it local it will cost less and you don’t have to wait for shipping.

(ed) did you miss the part where i said 5 to 15 bux? -apparently. yes even with pow/mia on it.

Why not actually going to A H.D. dealership or independant motorcycle shop? Shopping online is for lazy people! Besides actualy going to a shop you will be helping a small business if its an indy shop!

I agree that you should go to a local shop. Every one around me carries them.
I don’t know how if at all superstitious you folks are, but do you know about the ceremony that goes with installing them?
I’ve never attended (because I don’t have one), but understand that only another rider can get it, and put it on. It has to be a gift from another rider for its magic to work. I guess the gremlins are bound by certain rules.
As a rider, you’re always supposed to carry one, to give to a fellow rider under the right circumstances.
Anyway, not so much for this ceremony, but for a story on how it started, check out this months issue of The Horse Backstreet Choppers. It’s the one with the girl holding a candy cane. Oh, and a really nice red Shovel.

A local motorcycle accessory store should carry them and they’ll be a lot less expensive than the same ones at the H-D dealer.
