liplockablekisses …
liplockablekisses is an idiot- NEVER use steel wool on wheels and NEVER spray wd-40 anywhere near your Rotors/calipers. Personally, Ive never used anything more than a simple claybar and maybe some mother’s aluminum wheel polish from time to time. I’ve been wanting to try the s100/p21s polishing soap

Not sure I’d want …
Not sure I’d want to use steel wool though? It seems like it would be too abrasive. The Noxon is pretty caustic stuff also, on projects like this, I usually try to start with the mildest solution first (i.e., soap and water) and then work my way up to more powerful agents if needed.

The idea in the video is to use chemicals to do the job rather than taking the chance of scratching the finish with an abrasive material…

using steal wool …
using steal wool and WD-40 does th same thing….but the steal wool and WD-40 can clean off rust….try it and let me know if noxon still works better.

Good question – I …
Good question – I don’t know, but I doubt if Noxon is biodegradable; it’s been around forever and has a heavy ammonia smell. The S100 soap may be, it seems less caustic. But I don’t know for sure, perhaps their websites have more info.

It won’t “fix” …
It won’t “fix” corrosion, but will remove most dirt and tar and light surface issues. It’s pretty hard to remove the corrosion once it sets in, but it can clean up the slight pitting that signals the beginning of serious corrosion problems.
